By Freida Michael

Maintaining one's health is very important for overall wellness both today and in the future. Therefore, everyone has to consider a better way to eat, to be physically fit, and to protect themselves against illness. Below learn all about healthy living, and pure colloidal silver, to reduce the risk of illness, and more.

For much of the last five decades or so, consumers have been attracted to numerous unhealthy foods. First off, many of these are treated with dangerous pesticides that will affect people at some point. Beyond that, the attraction to process foods that have all kinds of questionable and unpronounceable ingredients is another reason why diseases of all types are on the rise.

Although it may not be seen or felt in their youth, poor eating habits will affect a person's condition midlife, or at worse, when they reach their golden years. It can affect their minds, as well as their various organs and muscles. In other words, these eating habits could be linked to the increase in Alzheimer's and dementia, as well as chronic and autoimmune diseases.

It's also important for people to start exercising or increase the amount of exercise they get on a daily basis. It's just as important as what they eat, as is good restful sleep. Bodies need to be respected and given exactly what they need. A good amount of exercise will reward people when they get older, enabling them to remain independent.

Beyond that, strengthening their immune system is key. To do so, it is important to eat wholesome foods that are cooked at home, and supplement the diet with necessary vitamins and minerals. This will help to fend off disease. However it's important to understand that one can still become ill even when they are in top physical form.

Viruses in the common flu can knock people off their feet. Taking colloidal silver instead of pharmaceutical antibiotics may be just as effective, depending on the illness. There is a place for pharmaceutical antibiotics, but there is also a place for colloidal silver, which used to be the only treatment for various viruses before antibiotics were invented.

In liquid form, it can be taken on a regular basis, strengthening a person's immune system and fighting off various viruses. It can also be used to fight many different infections, including an ear infection. Instead of pharmaceutical drugs being dropped into the ears or oral antibiotics taken, this could be just as effective, only it's safer, as it will not kill off the good bacteria in the intestinal tract.

Used wisely, it can truly help, but it should never be overdone. Never take more than the recommended dosage. Doing so could lead to argyria, which is a permanent blue or gray discoloration of the skin, although doesn't pose any serious health problems. Whatever the case, no one wants, for the purpose of their appearance, to be discolored. That said, colloidal silver is a wonderful product when used safely and, with the right kit could be made at home. Better yet, it's available ready-made, ensuring that it's made right.
