£30K TRANSFORMATION CHALLENGE: WINNER Ashley Lost 5st 5lbs* & WON £1000 Cash!

Ashley felt miserable, depressed, exhausted and achy. She was also suffering from anxiety and struggled to get out of bed in the mornings. She knew something had to change & came across our 3 week kick-start bundle. 5 and a half months later, she has lost an incredible 5st 5lbs and dropped 4 dress sizes. She entered our Transformation Challenge on a whim and ended up winning £1000 cash.

Here is her story…

New You: Ashley, why did you decide to join the challenge?

Ashley: It was just to get involved – I didn’t expect to win at all. I found seeing other people’s progress really inspiring and I thought even if I don’t win, hopefully people get some inspiration from my journey too.

New You: Was there anything that helped you stay on-track while doing the challenge?

Ashley: I stuck to my usual routine. I spent a lot of time in Secret Slimmers, reading other people’s stories.

New You: Throughout the challenge, were there any milestones that you hit?

Ashley: I think getting to a healthy BMI was a big one because I know this will have an impact on the quality of my life further down the line.

New You: We’d love to know how you heard about the plan!

Ashley: I saw an advert on Facebook for the plan’s 3 week Kickstart Bundle and I thought I would just give it a go and see how I felt. I was searching for meal replacement options because I knew something had to change. When I saw the 3 week bundle I thought it was doable so I went for it.

New You: And how much weight have you lost?

Ashley: I lost 5 stone in 5.5 months with the plan. And then, I lost a further 5lbs during re-feed.

Getting started…

New You: What led to you starting the plan?

Ashley: I felt miserable, depressed, exhausted and achy. I wasn’t sleeping too well because I had to keep changing position during the night because of my weight pressing down on the mattress. So that just added to the exhaustion.

New You: And tell us about that first week…

Ashley: It was easier than I thought. I’d had to look through Secret Slimmers so I expected a few side effects while I was adjusting. I had a couple of headaches, was a little bit windy, but basically not too bad.

New You: What are your go-to meals & snacks?

Ashley: The Carbonara is delicious and it’s nice and filling. I also had a bag of crisps everyday as a treat. Towards the end, I’d had a couple of the sweeter snacks, but I don’t really have a sweet tooth, so that helped me stay on track.

Life changing…

New You: How would you say the plan has changed your life?

Ashley: It’s helped me with self-control and being accountable for what I actually eat and the results of that. I’m a lot more optimistic about life. Before, I was just crawling out of bed in the mornings, having to face another day. Self-care has moved way up the list. I have more confidence and my anxiety has reduced. I have had a lot of social anxiety in the past – it’s still getting there as it’s a work in progress, but it’s definitely not weighing me down like it used to.

New You: What is the nicest compliment you have received since losing weight?

Ashley: My sisters’s reaction was amazing. I kept my weight loss secret from them, which was quite hard in the last couple of months. So, on Christmas day, I went there in my dress and the expression on their faces when they saw me as they tried to register what had happened. They were standing pointing and with their mouths wide open and I was just laughing. It was brilliant.

New You: What would you say to someone thinking of starting the plan?

Ashley: Just do it. Try it for a few weeks and then see how you feel at the end of it. That’s it. Use the Facebook group. It’s there for a purpose and it’s really helpful.

New You: And then finally, what’s next?

Ashley: I’m going to follow Keto alongside the plan. I am looking to build some muscle so I’ve got a treadmill coming next week.

Whether you want to lose half a stone or 10 stone*, have a slimmer figure, or are just looking to get maximum nutrition in minimum time, then New You can make the perfect partner to get you to where you want to be.

Cells: The Building Blocks of Life

Cells: The Building Blocks of Life The human body contains millions of cells that rely on healthy nutrition like proteins, vitamins and minerals. While the body can create some of these nutrients, it also requires essential vitamins and minerals from food sources. Every living organism depends on its cells to function normally. Often referred to as “the building blocks of life,” cells are the biological, structural and functional units that carry out tasks in an organism. A collection of cells working together is called a tissue, while a series of tissues performing organized functions are called organs. The human body contains trillions of cells, all with varying tasks that help support bodily organs; these include skin cells, nerve cells, blood cells, barrier function cells (supporting the lungs, gut) and more. Cells rely on good nutrition for energy production and to prevent oxidative damage. The anatomy of a cell Cells in the human body are so tiny that they are invisible to th...
