£30K TRANSFORMATION CHALLENGE: WINNER Angela Lost 4st 10lbs* & WON £1000 Cash!

Angela felt miserable about her weight. She had no energy, was suffering from terrible back pain and carrying out the simplest tasks was proving difficult. She knew she had to do something about it and after learning about The New You Plan, she decided to give it a go. Now, she has lost a HUGE 4st 10lbs*, has loads of energy, is no longer in pain & her confidence is back! Plus, she entered our Transformation Challenge and won £1000 cash.

Here is her story…

New You: Angela, why did you decide to join the challenge?

Angela: I was pleased with how my weight loss was going and I decided to share it in Secret Slimmers so others could see what is possible. And I’ve always liked a challenge and I’ve never won anything in the past when I’ve entered any competitions online or anything, so I thought, why not give it a go?!

New You: Was there anything that helped you stay on-track while doing the challenge?

Angela: I found sorting our my packs for the week was a big help. It meant I would just grab a pack each day, which was especially handy for work. And then obviously, I weighed myself every Monday to keep a check on my weight and that seemed to help.

New You: Did you hit any milestone during it?

Angela: I just focused on 7lbs at a time, trying not to look too far ahead so that I didn’t get disheartened. I found it easier to just focus on those seven pounds, rather than how many stone I wanted to lose in total. Breaking it down was more motivating.

New You: We’d love to know how you heard about the plan!

Angela: It showed up on my Facebook feed. I liked the idea of all the choices you have and seeing the weight loss results and the transformations of everyone was really inspiring.

Getting started…

New You: What led to you starting the plan?

Angela: I just felt so unhealthy and I was miserable. I had no energy whatsoever. My back ached every morning and just doing simple tasks like housework was difficult. I could only do one room at a time and I was absolutely shattered. I was having to constantly sit down for a rest.

New You: And tell us about that first week…

Angela: It was a bit easier than I thought it would be. I was a bit hungry initially and really tired on days 5 and 6, but by day 7 the energy levels kicked in and I felt great after that.

New You: What are your go-to meals & snacks?

Angela: I would say my favourite meal has to be the Chocolate Brownie. I’ve always had such a sweet tooth and that just takes it away. If I’m craving something sweet, it definitely helps. I love the crisps, especially the Salt and Vinegar and Thai Sweet Chilli flavours.

Life changing…

New You: How would you say the plan has changed your life?

Angela: It’s just the best thing that I’ve ever found. The meals and the snacks are all just so lovely. It just makes me so much happier now. I was miserable before, but now I’m so happy – I just feel so happy. And I’m starting to get my confidence back, which I lost years ago. When I look at my before and after photos, I just can’t believe the difference. Even when I look it the mirror, I still can’t quite believe that it’s the same person. I’m no longer in any pain, I don’t get out of breath. I was so tired and lethargic before. Now I’ve just got so much energy. It’s unbelievable.

New You: What is the nicest compliment you have received since losing weight?

Angela: I’ve actually only been out twice since August and that was like over the Christmas and New Year, so people hadn’t seen me since summertime. One guy I know asked if I’d left the other half of me in the house on New Year’s Day. I just laughed and thanked him. A friend at the same place said she hadn’t seen me for a long time and told me that I looked amazing and completely different now.

New You: What would you say to someone thinking of starting the plan?

Angela: Oh, I would tell them to go for it and explain to them all the choices of the packs are just great. And the snacks as well. Just to give it a go. I would always say, try it because I’ve never done anything like this plan, and it works!

New You: And then finally, what’s next?

Angela: I want to reach my goal so I’m aiming to get the last bit of weight off and then move over to Switch to maintain my loss and then also try and tone up all over.

Whether you want to lose half a stone or 10 stone*, have a slimmer figure, or are just looking to get maximum nutrition in minimum time, then New You can make the perfect partner to get you to where you want to be.

By Helen Kennedy Dental care is a critical issue for families and individuals. Our oral health is an indicator of our general well-being. Its condition shows our deficiencies in diet and also determines our intake of nutrients. Also, it also plays into our social well-being. Issues such as periodontal diseases and oral odor can compromise self-confidence and social association. Here are some tips on how to find the best Houston emergency dentist . An online search is a good place to consider. Many dentists have online platforms. Websites are an online brochure presenting the practice, its services and facilities available. Use the many online directories and narrow down your search area by the proximity. Use the contact information available to make inquiries and read client testimonials on the website. Email correspondence is also an efficient method of contacting your potential service provider. Referrals are one of the surest methods of finding legitimate practitioners. That ...

Cells: The Building Blocks of Life

Cells: The Building Blocks of Life The human body contains millions of cells that rely on healthy nutrition like proteins, vitamins and minerals. While the body can create some of these nutrients, it also requires essential vitamins and minerals from food sources. Every living organism depends on its cells to function normally. Often referred to as “the building blocks of life,” cells are the biological, structural and functional units that carry out tasks in an organism. A collection of cells working together is called a tissue, while a series of tissues performing organized functions are called organs. The human body contains trillions of cells, all with varying tasks that help support bodily organs; these include skin cells, nerve cells, blood cells, barrier function cells (supporting the lungs, gut) and more. Cells rely on good nutrition for energy production and to prevent oxidative damage. The anatomy of a cell Cells in the human body are so tiny that they are invisible to th...
