By Olive Pate

There are various sports that are created for people's entertainment these days. Athletic sports should be a good activity to get into because it allows people to have an active and healthy lifestyle. This is also a way for people to learn more about teamwork, cooperation, and sportsmanship. It would be a good idea to indulge in a sport.

You can choose from a variety of ball sports these days if you want to participate in a competitive team sports. You can play Oakville volleyball then. This is the game where, technically, the team that does not let the ball touch the ground wins. Every team member must work together to achieve that goal.

If you plan to be in this particular sports, then be aware of what the positions you have to specialize in. Knowing what positions you are in will allow you to train better on your skills, especially the skills necessary for your position. Here are some of the positions you should know about when it comes to the said sport.

First, you have the position for outside hitter. The said position has players hitting from their strong corner. For the players with a dominant right side, then they basically have a strong corner at their front left. If they are left-handed, then they have a strong corner at the front right corner of their court.

Middle blocker is another position in the ball sport. The players who are considered for the position are usually those with height as a weapon. Tall members of the team are given the general responsibility of blocking the hits that their opponents take against them. They can do lead blocking and such to achieve that goal.

Setters. This is a position for those who love setting the plays for the game. They are those players who deliver the ball or toss it up in the air for a more effective attack from the spikers. The setters will have to assist the spikers with the attacks, ensuring that they hit it at their best and scoring off of it.

There is also a position for spikers. This is a position that is necessary for the said sports. After all, this is a position meant for attacking. In the attack, they will be required to hit the ball so that it goes over the net, through their opponent's block, and on the other side's court. It will be better to hit the ball harder over the net then.

Libero. This is a position for a defense specialist. This requires the player to not participate in the attack and focus solely on ensuring that the ball does not touch the ground. The players who are excellent at receives are commonly the ones who are given the libero uniform, a uniform uniquely different from the team's.

Pinch server is also a position that is necessary to make the team stronger. For a pinch server, he or she will be put on the court in exchange for the player currently in charge for the serve. His or her job is to try and turn the tides around with a service ace. A pinch server is the person who is strong at serves.

Cells: The Building Blocks of Life

Cells: The Building Blocks of Life The human body contains millions of cells that rely on healthy nutrition like proteins, vitamins and minerals. While the body can create some of these nutrients, it also requires essential vitamins and minerals from food sources. Every living organism depends on its cells to function normally. Often referred to as “the building blocks of life,” cells are the biological, structural and functional units that carry out tasks in an organism. A collection of cells working together is called a tissue, while a series of tissues performing organized functions are called organs. The human body contains trillions of cells, all with varying tasks that help support bodily organs; these include skin cells, nerve cells, blood cells, barrier function cells (supporting the lungs, gut) and more. Cells rely on good nutrition for energy production and to prevent oxidative damage. The anatomy of a cell Cells in the human body are so tiny that they are invisible to th
