Mojo March! – Learning how to manage your emotions

Flip Negative to Positive and Discover Your Mojo

Negative emotions are the most invasive and the ones we tend to listen to, so it’s important that we learn how to manage the little devils!

This week Pascale is helping you to deal with your negative thoughts and emotions as part of Mojo March.

Some people would advise you to interrupt any negativity that you feel but this can be counterintuitive as they sometimes happen for a reason. And at times you might not even care if negativity slips in and you just shrug it off. Which is totally ok!

It’s when negative thoughts and emotions start to affect you, make you feel bad and stop you from achieving what you want, that you should look at managing them.

To gain control of negativity, Pascale suggests becoming aware of how much time you waste on thoughts and feelings that don’t align with your goals and priorities.

It may be the case that you are doing everything you can to bring positive energy into your life, but the balance of time spent between positive and negative still leans towards the negative This will obviously limit all the fun and good things that could be happening in your life.

In your downloadable workbook this week, you can write down all the negative feelings and behaviours associated with them that you experience in one day. You can then calculate how many hours you waste over a day, week, month, six months and a year. The figure may be quite shocking!

Armed with this information, Pascale will show you how to shift your negative feelings, thoughts and emotions into ones that are more positive and helpful. She will talk about a strategy called the Triple-A Solution which works alongside a colourful wheel of feelings, emotions and actions that you can use (in your workbook).

Triple-A stands for: Aware, Accept and Action. Using these three steps against your negative thoughts will allow you to regulate your emotions and move on so you can finally get your mojo back. Then you will be able to do the things you really want and enjoy your transformation journey.

For more in-depth coaching on managing your emotions, you can Join Pascale over on the Secret Slimmers Facebook group and if you make it live you could win yourself £25 in New You credit. If the day and time aren’t ideal then you can catch up with Pascale’s sessions in the Guides section.

Oh and don’t forget to download your workbook, it’s so handy to refer to again and again.

With springtime just around the corner, it’s the perfect time to refocus on your goals and get excited about the future again. Your mojo is there, deep down inside you you’ve just got to encourage it out again!

Pascale believes that by getting your mojo back, that not only it will make your New You Plan journey easier, but you will experience life with a brighter and more positive perspective.

So isn’t that worth making time for?

Here’s what else you can look forward to with Pascale in Mojo March, don’t forget to pop these dates in your diary, as this is when you can see Pascale:

Cells: The Building Blocks of Life

Cells: The Building Blocks of Life The human body contains millions of cells that rely on healthy nutrition like proteins, vitamins and minerals. While the body can create some of these nutrients, it also requires essential vitamins and minerals from food sources. Every living organism depends on its cells to function normally. Often referred to as “the building blocks of life,” cells are the biological, structural and functional units that carry out tasks in an organism. A collection of cells working together is called a tissue, while a series of tissues performing organized functions are called organs. The human body contains trillions of cells, all with varying tasks that help support bodily organs; these include skin cells, nerve cells, blood cells, barrier function cells (supporting the lungs, gut) and more. Cells rely on good nutrition for energy production and to prevent oxidative damage. The anatomy of a cell Cells in the human body are so tiny that they are invisible to th...
