May Community Challenges: Shape Up For Summer

Hello May! Time to Shape Up, Glow Up & Show Up For Yourself with our unmissable May Community Challenges for accountability, progress and power!

The countdown to summer starts now!  May is bursting with fresh opportunities to step into your power, supercharge your goals, and feel AMAZING. Whether you’re cruising along or starting afresh, it’s never too late to make this summer your strongest and most confident yet!

We’re keeping your favourite challenges alive — but with extra sunshine energy to fire you up for success. Here’s what you can expect from our May Community Challenges:

1. Hydrate to Radiate

Smash your 4 litres a day and watch your energy, mood and metabolism soar! Water is your ultimate secret weapon for a summer-ready glow.

Staying hydrated is one of the best things you can do for your body, especially when you’re on a very low-calorie diet. Just think of it as fat-burning fuel! Drinking enough water helps speed up your metabolism, keeps hunger pangs at bay, and gives you more energy throughout the day. Plus, it’s essential for helping your body flush out toxins, including the by-products from burning fat. When you’re well-hydrated, you’ll feel more revitalised, less sluggish, and ready to take on anything!

2. Step into your Power

Movement = magic! Every step brings you closer to your goals. Enjoy the longer days, the fresh air, and those big feel-good wins.

Walking is one of the easiest and most powerful ways to boost your physical and mental health. It gets your heart pumping, strengthens your legs, and helps you burn calories, all while keeping you away from mindless eating. It’s also amazing for your mood – nothing beats a good walk for clearing your head and reducing stress. Plus, with warmer weather and brighter days ahead, it really is the perfect time to get outdoors and soak up the natural beauty around us. The more you walk, the better you’ll feel, both in body and mind! (Capped at 10,000 steps per day).

3. May Mindset Motivation Bingo

Because a strong mind builds a strong body! Celebrate the small wins, practice self-love, and shift into a mindset made for success.

This month, focus on positivity and self-care! Tick off as many squares as you can from our daily mindset motivation bingo card! Having a positive mindset is crucial on a weight loss journey because it fosters resilience and motivation. When you embrace positivity, you’re more likely to view challenges as opportunities for growth rather than setbacks. This mindset can help you stay committed to your goals, celebrate small victories, and maintain a healthier relationship with food and exercise. Ultimately, a positive outlook enhances your overall well-being and makes the journey more enjoyable and sustainable.

4. Squat for Success

Tone up, build strength, and feel unstoppable with daily squats.

Keep track of how many you can do each day! A lot of our community members loved this challenge when we ran it in the past so we’ve brought it back and are capping it at 100 squats per day. We appreciate this might not sound super inclusive or accessible to all so we’ve created a ‘how to’ video with Coach Josh to show how you can modify this movement to fit your own mobility needs. You can view the video here.

Incorporating daily exercise routines into your weight loss journey is great because not only does it help burn calories but it also boosts your mood and energy levels. Engaging in physical activity releases endorphins, which can enhance your motivation and make the journey feel more enjoyable. Additionally, daily exercise strengthens your body, improves your cardiovascular health, and builds a sense of discipline, all of which are essential for sustainable weight loss and overall well-being. Remember, every small effort counts, and the journey is just as important as the destination.
