It’s Your Time To Shine!

It’s Your Time To Shine!

Wow, Christmas seems like a distant memory with January already half done! You should be back into the old routine by now, with ideas on how you’re going to ditch some of the habits that aren’t working for you and introduce some new ones that will.

This week, during Pascale’s mindset session with you she will talk about systems and tools that you can use to achieve exactly what you desire in respect of your transformation.

One system is to break down your goals into much more manageable achievable ones. From there you can then get super specific on how you will reach them. You can consider:

  • What your mini-goals are.
  • What your weekly plan will be to hit your mini-goals.
  • What a typical day will look like as you work toward your goals.

Another great system is to use your strengths to your advantage. And before you feel you don’t have any – yes you do! And Pascale’s workbook helps you figure out what they are. So don’t forget to download it. It’s jam-packed this month.

When deciding on your strengths you will look at these key elements:

  • Humour.
  • Gratitude.
  • Confidence.
  • Positivity.
  • Resilience.

This week’s fabulous tool will be especially fun to do if you like to get crafty. But even if you don’t, we know you will still enjoy putting together – your VISION BOARD!

A vision board is ideal for connecting yourself visually to your goals, which will make you more likely to achieve them.

You can make a collage out of words and pictures that motivate and inspire you. And best of all you can create this with good scissors, old paper and glue, or make it digital on Canva or Pinterest. It can be as simple or as elaborate as you like. We’d love to see what you create too!

To get help with breaking down your goals and making your vision board, make sure you join Pascale over on the Secret Slimmer’s Facebook group on Tuesday at 7 pm. Or if you can’t make it live, you can find the video any time after in the Guides section. Just remember, if you do join in live, you could win yourself £25 New You credit!

2022 is the year you’ll achieve the New You!

Cells: The Building Blocks of Life

Cells: The Building Blocks of Life The human body contains millions of cells that rely on healthy nutrition like proteins, vitamins and minerals. While the body can create some of these nutrients, it also requires essential vitamins and minerals from food sources. Every living organism depends on its cells to function normally. Often referred to as “the building blocks of life,” cells are the biological, structural and functional units that carry out tasks in an organism. A collection of cells working together is called a tissue, while a series of tissues performing organized functions are called organs. The human body contains trillions of cells, all with varying tasks that help support bodily organs; these include skin cells, nerve cells, blood cells, barrier function cells (supporting the lungs, gut) and more.
