Day 4/11 – Just One Of The Many Betrayals That Hurt!

Day 4/11 – Just One Of The Many Betrayals That Hurt!

Life and business are journeys marked by unexpected twists and daunting challenges, and over the past 15 years, building The New You Plan has been no exception. Throughout this time, I’ve faced betrayals and setbacks that tested my resolve, but each challenge has been an opportunity to grow stronger and more committed to our vision.

This blog post offers a glimpse into that journey, highlighting the resilience and determination that have not only shaped me as a person but also empowered our community to transform their lives. Join me as I reflect on these experiences and celebrate the power of persistence and the promise of transformation for everyone on the New You journey.

Over the past 15 years, The New You Plan has grown into something truly special – but I’ll be honest, it hasn’t been an easy journey. Running a business (just like weight loss) is full of highs and lows, and it has taught me so much about resilience, perspective, and staying committed to what really matters.

In the early days, I thought success would come from working hard and ticking off my goals. But as time went on, I learned something even more important: how you handle challenges shapes you far more than how you handle success.

The Hardest Lessons

There were moments in these 15 years when I doubted myself. There were setbacks that could have stopped me in my tracks: betrayals, disappointments, and times when it felt like everything was going wrong.

But I learned to keep going, even when it felt impossible.

In both my pregnancies I was in so much pain from a pregnancy related mobility pelvic pain that I could not walk and I worked from my laptop in my bed everyday. I didn’t get the opportunity to have a maternity leave because I didn’t have a team.

In my 2nd pregnancy, I wanted to take maternity leave so much I had to had hire 4 people to do my job so that I could take a break. When I was 8 months pregnant, I was in a wheelchair and I hired the 4th person who would allow me to take a break, but it turned out he was in the process of setting up a rival company and seen my job ad, he took the job just to get as much information from my company to help him set up on his own. That hurt me so much, and not only did I not get to have my maternity leave, I was now in a legal battle too….

Throughout all the challenges I have faced, I always knew the only way to keep everything going was to focus on the small, daily actions that would keep me moving forward, even when I couldn’t see the bigger picture yet. That resilience didn’t just grow the business – it helped me grow as a person. The last 15 years have changed me totally as a person!

Our Community is Full Of Strong Inspiring People who are ALL CHANGING for the better!

One of the greatest joys of running The New You Plan has been seeing your stories of resilience. So many of you have shared your journeys with me, and it’s been incredible to watch you overcome challenges, celebrate victories, and keep going no matter what.

The great thing about the plan is that even if you have mobility issues you can still lose weight. After my 2 pregnancies it took me months to be able to walk properly again, but because of the plan I was able to lose weight even with my mobility issues.

Our community reminds me time and time again that transformation is possible for anyone who chooses to keep moving forward – one day at a time.

Thank you for being part of this journey with me. Tomorrow, I’ll share more about the future of The New You Plan and some exciting things we’re working on to support your journey even more.

Here’s to resilience, persistence, and the amazing transformations yet to come!

LOTS OF LOVE 💜
